-Training, communications, product release
-Shutting down unsafe AI tools (public like Chat GPT)
-Supplying the organization with complete CEO level communications
-Website with all AI assets
-Off-site with ELT with 3 hour immersion
-Enterprise level training program, tailor curriculum
Job Summary
The AI & Data Project Manager (Contractor) is responsible for leading and coordinating enterprise AI, data, and advanced analytics initiatives across the health system. This role manages the delivery of strategic data and artificial intelligence projects including analytics platforms, machine learning implementations, data governance initiatives, and enterprise data
products.
The position partners closely with clinical, operational, financial, and technology leaders to ensure AI and data initiatives are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational strategy and governance standards.
The AI & Data Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and adoption of enterprise data capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads planning and execution of AI, data, and analytics initiatives including data platforms, AI model deployment, and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Coordinates the full lifecycle of AI and data projects from initiation through closure using the Project Management Framework.
• Defines project scope, deliverables, success criteria, timelines, and budgets.
• Manages cross functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and operational leaders.
• Tracks project milestones and ensures delivery of AI and analytics capabilities on schedule.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies related to data quality, integration, governance, and adoption.
• Coordinates integration across enterprise systems including Epic, Oracle, Strata, Power BI, and other platforms.
• Supports enterprise data governance initiatives including stewardship and data quality programs.
• Oversees delivery of AI and analytics product releases including dashboards and predictive models.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements supporting clinical, operational, financial, and strategic analytics initiatives.
• Maintains project documentation including charters, roadmaps, plans, and
post implementation reviews.
• Tracks portfolio metrics for AI and data initiatives.
• Supports organizational change management to drive adoption of AI and analytics capabilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Area of Study: Information Systems, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Alternate Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree;or Associate degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement;or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Experience:
• Managing complex IT, data, analytics, or AI initiatives
• Healthcare data and analytics environments
• Enterprise analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
• Cross functional enterprise project leadership
Preferred Certifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Agile or Scrum Certification
• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• AI or Data Management related certifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong project management skills managing complex technology and data initiatives
• Understanding of enterprise data architecture, analytics platforms, and AI solutions
• Ability to coordinate cross functional teams across technical and clinical domains
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Familiarity with healthcare performance analytics preferred
