      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform operational and procedural assignments with a focus on resolving moderately difficult issues
      - Handle confidential information and make recommendations for process improvements
      - Provide administrative support across various departments, including front office assistance and executive-level support
      - Manage calendars, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
      - Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with staff and stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience with administrative procedures, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
      - Basic verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and time management abilities
      - Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
      - High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
      - Must comply with conditions of employment, including background checks and legal right to work in the United States

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in a higher education environment
      - Familiarity with UC policies and procedures
      - Proficiency in additional software applications relevant to administrative support
