Job Description
- Req#: R-44673-2025
- Accountable for assigned fiscal year budgets of approximately $70M+ by brand and categories.
- Responsible for developing key account(s) / more complex trade / multiple territories sales plans to meet or exceed assigned budgets; qualify new product concepts with select key customers and provide sales input to the new product development process.
- Actively engage in direct account management of key accounts/territory; direct and manage all sales activities directly and in conjunction with sales leadership and other Harman staff.
- Conduct regularly scheduled in-person business reviews and future planning with key customers to ensure alignment to budgets and strategies.
- Instrumental in identifying key customer targets for new product launches and tracking commitments; responsible for monitoring and reporting relevant competitive activity in the marketplace.
- Maximize all revenue opportunities while minimizing financial risks to Harman and its Customers.
- Develop and maintain 12-month rolling product forecasts (monthly); provide 6-month rolling projections on a weekly basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent job experience.
- 5+ years of sales management experience within the Consumer Electronics / Audio Channel.
- Customer-centric approach to exceed customer expectations and cultivate long-term relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate a competitive market space.
- Be organized with exceptional time management skills and have superior follow-up and execution.

- Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic only
- Be willing to work in a home office in the Metro NY Market (NY, CT, NJ) and Mid-Atlantic (VA, Eastern PA / DE / MD / Washington DC).

As a Sales lead for all Harman Lifestyle Audio Brands and Categories, you will strategically manage critical key territories – territory assignments can change from time to time. You will develop, execute, and manage all sales-related activities with key accounts while developing assigned new customer prospects. You will also be collaborating heavily with Marketing, Ops, Finance, and eCommerce teams to maximize sales and brand visibility.
