What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct Utility Research by obtaining maps for Utility Owners
- Use Radio-Frequency Electromagnetic Induction (RFEMI) equipment to locate subsurface utilities
- Map utilities in accordance with ASCE 38-22 Standard Guidelines
- Take field notes and create field sketches
- Assist land surveyors during data collection of utility marks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of field locating or Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) experience
- Proficiency with cable and pipe locating equipment
- Familiarity with geophysical prospecting techniques and equipment
- Degree, certificate, or completed technical training
- Valid driver’s license

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Surveying, CAD, or GIS
- Good social and communication skills
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
- Ability to pass drug screen and background checks
- Reputation as a trusted member of the utility or geophysical community
