      Impact Finance & Advisory (IFA), as part of Corporate Responsibility, deploys the Firm’s principal capital to support the philanthropic objectives noted above and strategic initiatives such as our $30bn Racial Equity Commitment. The IFA team has built out a multi-asset impact investing and lending platform to advance these objectives. The team makes low-cost loans to mission-driven financial intermediaries, such as Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and equity investments in funds and early-stage, mission-driven companies. It also provides advisory services to corporate clients regarding ESG and impact.

      To that end, the IFA team is seeking a finance professional with experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or venture / private equity investing who is eager to leverage their financial acumen to drive social and environmental good.       Job Responsibilities

      • Support sourcing, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of venture investments
      • Support deal team and deal processes including sourcing, conducting detailed investment due diligence, review of legal documentation, and comprehensive financial analyses
      • Help prepare investment memoranda and related documentation to support investment decision-making
      • Support portfolio management, including financial and valuation analyses and KPI tracking
      • Support efforts to connect venture portfolio companies to resources across the Firm
      • Help conduct impact assessments for each investment opportunity, partnering with colleagues in Global Philanthropy
      • Engage with partners across JPMC’s lines of business to identify and provide coverage to key client relationships with a strategic focus on sustainability, corporate responsibility and/or a social/environmental mission
      • Work with corporate client base to identify potential impact investment opportunities, including co-investment opportunities, that will provide scalable solutions to social and/or environmental issues
      • Develop financing solutions that advance JPMC's and clients' CR objectives
      • Support creation of materials that demonstrate JPMC's ESG and impact qualifications
      • Identify and manage working groups across lines of business to explore transaction opportunities with / develop bespoke financing solutions for clients

      Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

      • A demonstrated passion for impact investing, social enterprise, and/or development finance
      • 2-4 years of client-facing and transaction experience through corporate finance, investment banking, or venture / private equity investing preferred
      • Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
      • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
      • Highly analytical and strong strategic problem solving skills in a complex environment
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to proactively build networks and cultivate relationships both internally and externally
      • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organization skills
      • Acts with urgency, initiative, and ownership to drive results
