- As a Reviewer-in-Charge, lead a team in reviews of credit card portfolios. This includes chairing meetings associated with planning, project kick-off, presentation of findings, and formal closing.
- Duties include coordinating team assignments with Credit Review management, defining project scope, designing appropriate test strategies to evaluate credit risk, communicating with business management, reviewing test results, identifying key issues and dimensioning the significance of those findings, report writing, and archiving all relevant documents.
- As team member, participate in reviews led by Credit Review team members. This includes working with large datasets, understanding model-driven risk strategies, analyzing the credit underwriting quality of individual transactions and risk strategies, recording test results and conclusions in a work paper database, and participating actively in all review meetings.
- Perform continuous monitoring of assigned credit card portfolios and participate in portfolio review meetings.
- Proactively identify areas of uncontrolled or emerging credit risk.
- Partner with Credit Review Teams to integrate data and analytics into Continuous Monitoring and Periodic Credit Review Activity.
- Serve as an information resource on credit risk, policy and strategies.
- Ensure consistent application of firm wide Risk Policy as well as Credit Review Policies and Procedures.
- Complete special projects and research as assigned by the Credit Review Director.
- Experienced credit professional with a minimum of 7 years of consumer and/or small business credit experience, credit risk management and risk strategies.
- Firm understanding of how to employ data analytics to monitor and assess credit card portfolios.
- Demonstrated understanding of retail credit principles, financial analysis, and strong analytical skills.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with analytics toolsets including databases, Tableau, and data visualization applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex issues to management.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective in a dynamic fast-paced environment and willing to take personal risk, responsibility, and accountability.
- Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically.

The Vice President, Credit Review will be responsible for reviewing the credit process in the credit card portfolios at the firm. This position is responsible for monitoring credit card portfolios, performing periodic credit reviews, identifying risk trends and supporting analytics advancement for the Consumer Credit Review Team.
