What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately record all daily financial transactions, including credit card and bank transactions in accordance with company policies and GAAP
- Regularly reconcile bank accounts, payroll, and credit card statements with internal records to ensure accuracy
- Manage the Accounts Payable process by entering bills into accounting systems and reconciling vendor payments
- Apply customer payments to invoices accurately and timely, monitoring accounts receivable aging reports
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC606
- Working knowledge of digital assets and cryptocurrency transactions, including stablecoins and blockchain payments
- Ability to understand and reconcile on-chain transaction data to accounting records
- Excellent numerical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
