What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of the Environmental Brain and Behavior Lab
- Manage and prioritize the Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
- Oversee communications for multi-site laboratory projects to ensure alignment with external partners
- Prepare and manage materials for speaking engagements, meetings, and conference submissions
- Assist with the faculty promotion process through the Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure (AP&T) process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED; certification or vocational training may be required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- 6 months of experience in customer service or communications, including researching and analyzing information
- 6 months of experience in operating spreadsheet and presentation software
- Successful completion of a background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Administrative experience strongly preferred
- Experience utilizing financial and human resource systems of the employer is desired
