What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide complex administrative support for various units within the organization, coordinating day-to-day functions and high-priority projects
- Manage the gambling self-exclusion program and coordinate gambling equipment submissions
- Facilitate effective operations for tribal relations and gaming units to support the agency's mission
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for employee orientation and training sessions
- Maintain legal and training records and assist with legislative bill tracking and agency rules processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in office, clerical, bookkeeping, or general administrative work
- Formal education and/or training in office or clerical occupations, bookkeeping, or accounting may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Willingness to undergo an extensive background investigation, including a criminal history check and fingerprinting
- Ability to adhere to agency policies regarding gambling activities and conflicts of interest
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a regulatory or law enforcement agency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with legislative processes and legal documentation
- Experience in project management or coordination of high-priority tasks
