What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide customer service support for Accounts Payable related to the Procure to Payment process
- Respond to and resolve customer service requests logged in the Customer Service Helpdesk
- Communicate with Medical System departments and vendors regarding payment processing issues
- Assist departments and vendors in understanding Accounts Payable policies and the procurement process
- Document issues and resolutions in the Customer Service Helpdesk software
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; Associate's degree is preferred
- Minimum of three years of work experience in an Accounts Payable function performing invoice matching in a high-volume automated accounting department
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office software applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Procure to Payment process and Accounts Payable automation
- Strong customer service and telephone skills, along with effective verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with internal controls related to Accounts Payable
- Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers and electronic calculators
- Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
