What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maximize cash collections and minimize denials and lost revenue through effective claim resolution
- Conduct follow-up on outstanding insurance or contract claims, including communication with payers and business partners
- Identify opportunities for improving department workflows and contribute to the development of payer matrices and operating procedures
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals
- Maintain knowledge of current government and carrier regulations relevant to the healthcare industry
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of medical insurance or billing experience, or equivalent training or education
- Proficiency in using personal computers in a Windows environment, including basic word processing and data entry
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and basic understanding of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

- Experience in a healthcare-related billing or insurance role
- Familiarity with claims processing and denial management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and manage time effectively
