What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach online courses, ensuring high engagement and effective learning experiences for students
- Mentor doctoral students through dissertation and capstone processes, fostering strong relationships and guidance
- Develop and refine curriculum and course materials in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Participate actively in school and university governance and committee roles
- Contribute to professional service and practice within the community and educational networks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in a related field such as EdD, PhD, or DNP
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in higher education, particularly in an online setting
- Proven experience in curriculum writing and integration of science with nursing education
- Active, unencumbered RN license required; willing to obtain additional RN licenses based on program needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience presenting at professional conferences on a national or local level
- Familiarity with scholarly writing and use of APA 7th edition
- Membership in an educational leadership organization
- Demonstrated commitment to service and practice in the field of educational leadership
