      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and deliver lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities for courses
      - Maintain regular office hours for student advising and support
      - Participate in departmental and divisional events aimed at recruitment and retention
      - Assist in the preparation of class schedules and course materials for the University Bulletin Catalog
      - Monitor and evaluate students' progress, making referrals to support services as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - PhD in a relevant field
      - Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge
      - Ability to serve as a Christian role model and support the institution's mission
      - Experience in academic advising and student support
      - Active participation in faculty meetings and collaboration with colleagues

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in recruiting new faculty members within an academic unit
      - Familiarity with grant writing and securing foundation grants
      - Involvement with professional organizations related to the discipline
      - Ability to develop innovative syllabi and course materials
      - Strong connections with alumni and community organizations
