      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Pursue an active research program in the field of Criminal Justice
      - Teach undergraduate courses in Criminal Justice and related fields, both on-campus and online
      - Provide career and academic advising and mentorship to students
      - Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities
      - Develop specialized courses that contribute to the curriculum in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related discipline
      - Background or experience to teach courses in at least three specified areas of Criminal Justice
      - Established record of publication in scholarly journals related to specialization or potential to establish a successful research record
      - Ability to teach in both on-campus and asynchronous online formats

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous teaching experience as the instructor of record in at least two of the specified areas
      - Experience in mentoring and advising at the college or university level
      - Demonstrated research experience with undergraduate student participation
