      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead the strategic direction and execution of underwriting operational strategy for casualty and large accounts portfolios
      - Analyze performance of existing business and provide strategic recommendations for improvement
      - Ensure profitability, growth, and operational efficiency for casualty lines of business
      - Collaborate with corporate underwriting departments on strategies and objectives
      - Oversee team development, performance goals, and succession planning

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in an insurance or business-related field or equivalent relevant experience
      - Ten years of commercial casualty underwriting experience in progressively responsible roles
      - Insurance certifications such as CPCU, ARM, AU, or CIC
      - Superior knowledge of underwriting techniques, terminology, policies, and products
      - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced knowledge of commercial casualty underwriting business processes
      - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
      - Strong ability to advise and consult with diverse internal and external stakeholders
      - Capability to distill complex issues for technical and non-technical audiences
      - Previous experience leading and developing underwriting teams
