      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead strategic communications planning and execution for the Policy & Legislation team, collaborating with various internal stakeholders
      - Utilize data-informed approaches to develop advocacy goals, messaging, and communication strategies
      - Coordinate media engagement and coalition-building efforts to amplify policy goals and influence decision-makers
      - Supervise and manage staff within the Policy & Legislation hub, providing direction and fostering a collaborative environment
      - Drive content creation and branding initiatives to enhance Earthjustice's public profile and advocacy efforts

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 7+ years in public policy advocacy, communications, and government relations; 3+ years in a supervisory role
      - Bachelor's or master’s degree in relevant fields such as journalism, political science, communications, or public policy
      - Proven experience working on Capitol Hill or in state legislatures
      - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
