What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide tier one IT support for UAMS Regional Centers and adjacent entities
- Troubleshoot and repair endpoint devices, peripherals, and network connectivity issues
- Manage asset tracking and monitoring of IT infrastructure
- Prepare activity reports and perform in-depth root cause analysis for issues
- Ensure effective communication with users and escalate issues as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in computer science or related field, or High School diploma with 2 years of relevant IT experience
- Valid driver’s license
- High competency in Windows 10, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under pressure
- Availability for on-call support outside of general work hours
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in a healthcare environment providing service support
- Knowledge of Epic or other EMRs
- Familiarity with client/server computing and networking
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MTA
