What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide tier one IT support for UAMS Regional Centers, addressing customer needs effectively
- Troubleshoot and repair endpoint devices, software, and network connectivity issues
- Monitor infrastructure and manage asset deployment and upgrades
- Communicate user needs and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolutions
- Prepare reports on activities and maintain compliance with best industry practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in computer science or related field, or High School diploma plus 2 years of IT support experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
- High competency in Windows 10, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and respond to on-call trouble calls
- Availability for rotating weekend and holiday coverage, with potential for extended hours
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in a healthcare environment providing end-user support
- Knowledge of Epic or other electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Familiarity with various client operating systems and networking concepts
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
