What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage a team of Care Specialists, providing coaching and support for their professional growth
- Engage in direct customer interactions, addressing escalations and high-dollar appeasement requests
- Oversee daily Care live support and ticket queue activity, ensuring effective operations
- Drive team objectives by managing Care Operational Functions and proposing process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer support or customer operations
- At least 1 year of experience managing people in customer-facing roles
- Proven ability to manage escalations and maintain composure in crisis situations
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering team members
- Proficient in utilizing support technology and analytics platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with process improvements and cross-functional collaboration in customer operations
- Familiarity with support tech stacks, such as Zendesk, and automation tools
- Background in managing teams in high-growth or unpredictable environments
- High emotional intelligence and effective communication skills
