- Lead installation/deployments of BG technology on customer sites from installation to System Engineering hand-off
- Ensure compliance to building and safety codes by all federal, state, and/or local regulations
- Manage installation contractors and work to resolve deployment issues
- Manage BG engineers while on site that are tasked with installation efforts
- Manage customer relationship on-site and coordinate site level tasks with local building management
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to meet installation criteria
- Drive feedback and improvement efforts from site to System Engineering teams
- Provide support to the active project to drive progress and prevent or mitigate stoppages or downtime
- Responsible for tracking and achieving project operational and budgetary metrics
- Develop standardization processes and technical solutions to drive down installation time and cost
- Oversee customer training and handoff tasks to guarantee a smooth integration of BG’s technology in existing operations
- BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or similar technical field
- 5+ years of experience in construction or installation management
- 8+ years of experience in construction or installation management
- Project management experience
- Robotics/industrial automation/manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated experience managing hardware installations and commissioning of industrial equipment
- Experience leading teams of engineers
- Experience managing construction contractors
- Knowledge and understanding of safety standards
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, electrical schematics, or other engineering diagrams
- Confidence and knowledge to convey technical explanations of problems or issues identified during deployment
- Understanding of warehouse management systems, software messaging flows, IT hardware
- Demonstrated experience with customer management and support
- Strong sense of urgency and leadership
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work with senior levels of management internally and externally at site level
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
- High competence in at least one area: mechanical, electrical, or software systems
- Experience with project management software - MS Project, Smartsheets, etc.
- Experience with engineering defect tracking software – JIRA, etc.
