What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness initiatives
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide high-quality customer service in line with service level agreements
- Manage automated solutions for benefit enrollment and coordinate with internal and external teams for data integrity
- Prepare training materials and deliver presentations on various benefit plans
- Monitor and audit costs, claims, and participant data for benefit plans to ensure compliance and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of human resource experience, specifically in health and welfare benefits administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems and spreadsheet applications (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a shared services and/or call center environment
- One year of experience with benefits administration systems
- Coursework or certification in benefits administration (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist)
- Experience in the healthcare industry
