      Billing Specialist - Production Solutions, Remote Work Opportunity

      In this fast-paced, detail-driven role, you will juggle competing priorities with confidence, applying strong judgment and knowing when to escalate or seek guidance. You will take ownership of final billing for completed work across the company, including postage reconciliations and client package costs, ensuring accuracy from start to finish.

      Requirements

      What You Will Do

      • Process and manage electronic client job submissions using proprietary systems, ensuring all billing documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
      • Prepare, review, and reconcile invoices, payables, and approved authorizations to ensure accurate billing and timely revenue recognition.
      • Analyze and reconcile postage, mailing, and package costs, including per-piece cost calculations and multi-job mailings.
      • Prepare billing checklists and submit finalized billings to Accounts Receivable; submit invoices and documentation to Accounts Payable as needed.
      • Maintain alignment between production systems and accounting records, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
      • Ensure invoices, postage reconciliations, and client cost documentation are prepared accurately and on schedule.
      • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing, payment, or processing issues efficiently.
      • Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting.
      • Use technology and standard business software to support efficient billing operations and reporting.
      • Contribute to month-end activities and support overall departmental goals as needed.

      Required Qualifications & Experience
      • A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, finance, billing, or a related role.
      • Strong computer proficiency, including Windows-based applications and the Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills are required.
      • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, work collaboratively within a team, and build positive, professional working relationships.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
      • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information confidently and professionally.
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • A high level of energy and resilience, with the ability to remain focused and effective in high-pressure or frequently changing situations.
      • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and occasional disruption.
      • Occasional travel may be required.
