What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Order laboratory reagents and maintain laboratory stocks
- Schedule and maintain records of equipment and facilities maintenance
- Assist in developing plans for research projects and interpreting results
- Provide written reports and assist in the preparation of scientific manuscripts
- Assist greenhouse staff with the maintenance of plant materials as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably biology, biochemistry, or plant science
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a lab technician role
- Ability to perform basic molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning, gene transformation, and gene expression analysis
- Experience in basic biochemistry and cell culture
- Must be present in the laboratory; no remote work

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two or more years of laboratory experience beyond classroom experience
- Prior experience in a lab technician role with supervisory experience
- Proven ability to work in a laboratory setting requiring standing while conducting experiments
- Familiarity with plant growth and cell culture techniques
