What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
- Support the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
- Manage costing allocations and budget proposal support
- Contribute to the preparation, review, and distribution of financial reporting and data visualization
- Provide assistance to other Finance-related functions, including month-end close processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in finance or accounting
- Minimum of two (2) years of financial analysis, grant, project, and/or costing accounting experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality products on time with limited supervision
- Strong motivation with a bias for action and outcome orientation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in an education or non-profit environment
- Familiarity with Workday and Adaptive Planning technology systems
- Grant and/or fund accounting experience
- A self-starter with a strong desire to impact and change people's lives for the better
- Demonstrated innovation, creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship skills
