      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Maintain and update FISMA documentation for the client's IT system portfolio, including system security plans and related artifacts
      - Coordinate the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, working with security and privacy offices
      - Draft, review, and maintain Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for systems that handle personally identifiable information
      - Work directly with program staff to elicit, refine, and document business requirements for applications
      - Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and functional specifications to support application design

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated experience with FISMA compliance documentation, including system security plans
      - Experience drafting or maintaining Privacy Impact Assessments for systems processing personally identifiable information
      - Familiarity with NIST frameworks applicable to federal IT compliance
      - Experience supporting or coordinating ATO processes, including preparing security assessment documentation
      - Strong written communication skills, particularly in documentation-intensive environments

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience in a U.S. federal government environment, particularly in a regulatory or policy-adjacent context
      - Familiarity with privacy and information security frameworks of regulatory agencies
      - Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
      - Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform applications or SharePoint Online
      - Coursework or certification in information security, privacy, or records management is a plus
