What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and translate business requirements into user stories and functional designs, proposing options and recommending best-fit solutions
- Configure and maintain pay components, earnings/deductions, tax elections, and payroll accounting configuration
- Manage Workday security roles and business processes for Payroll, ensuring audit readiness
- Build, test, and deploy enhancements and fixes in accordance with change control and SOX-compliant processes
- Serve as the Payroll technology point of contact and facilitate workshops and demos with stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of HR/Payroll systems experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and support
- Demonstrated ownership of at least two end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations or major reconfigurations
- Deep knowledge of Workday Payroll objects and processes, including payroll results validation and costing
- Strong skills in Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields; experience with audit and reconciliation reports
- Proven track record operating in an Agile environment using tools like Jira/Confluence
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connector) and Time Tracking/Absence touchpoints
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences
