What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance providers
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to clarify documentation and coding queries
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff on coding practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification as a Medical Coder
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Additional coding certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS)
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement processes
- Previous experience in a healthcare office setting
