What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Conduct administrative duties related to patient care and services
- Manage electronic check-in and check-out processes for telehealth appointments
- Collaborate with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
- Minimum of one year of clinical or administrative experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience specifically in telehealth services
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications related to medical assisting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
