      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform classification and compensation activities and analysis for the State of Wisconsin
      - Provide technical assistance, consultation, and guidance on compensation and classification matters to statewide HR professionals
      - Conduct organizational reviews and analysis, including job classification analysis and occupational research
      - Develop human resource guidelines for assigned areas of responsibility
      - Participate in special project teams in human resource management assignments with statewide impact

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience in performing compensation activities or classification activities
      - Ability to analyze data for generating written reports, recommendations, or summaries
      - Knowledge of interpreting state or federal policies, procedures, laws, or regulations
      - For senior level: experience implementing/managing compensation practices and conducting job analysis
      - For advanced level: experience interpreting and applying Wisconsin statutes and leading occupational group studies

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with labor market analysis and conducting pay setting analysis
      - Familiarity with public sector compensation practices and addressing competing interests
      - Proven ability to lead or manage studies to determine classification/compensation structure
