What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach a variety of Kinesiology courses, including Leadership, Coaching, Generalist tracks, and Physical Education
- Mentor undergraduate students and provide guidance in their academic journey
- Oversee experiential learning opportunities, including internships
- Participate in interprofessional education initiatives
- Contribute to the development of the Kinesiology and Nutrition Department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition
- Active and faithful member of a Church of Christ congregation
- Commitment to supporting the Christian mission and purpose of the university
- Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive academic environment
- Willingness to undergo a background check for security-sensitive positions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in teaching Kinesiology courses at the college level
- Involvement in mentorship or coaching activities within an academic setting
- Background in experiential learning practices
- Familiarity with interprofessional education approaches
- Commitment to community engagement and service
