      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Teach undergraduate courses and mentor students in electrical and computer engineering
      - Contribute to the development and assessment of academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels
      - Engage in research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning
      - Participate in departmental service, committee work, and other assigned duties
      - Develop courses focused on engineering problem-solving and design

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a closely related field completed prior to employment
      - Effective communication skills and previous teaching experience in ECE or a related field
      - Strong record of academic accomplishments and proven ability to work collaboratively
      - Experience with and commitment to interdisciplinary research and instruction
      - Willingness to address complex technical and societal challenges across disciplinary boundaries

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Interest or experience working effectively with a diverse student population
      - Relevant industrial experience and academic experience teaching in Power Systems, Electric Machines, and Power Electronics
      - Willingness and ability to work in a high-tech environment, including online instruction and distance learning
      - Experience collaborating with industry to facilitate student project funding
      - Background in academia with an emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching and research
