What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions for thousands of agents.
- Maintain commission database, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance.
- Perform detailed audits of commission statements and maintain records for audit requirements.
- Explain commission calculations and address queries related to payouts and discrepancies.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commission processes and inquiries about 1099 preparation.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent analytical experience.
- Experience with sales compensation calculations and reporting.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with SSMS/similar database tools and/or writing SQL queries.
- Experience with Varicent Incentive Compensation Tools or similar compensation tools.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
