      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee compliance functions for the South Carolina health plan, including policy development and submission of deliverables
      - Serve as the senior leadership point of contact in all state compliance meetings and interactions
      - Manage correspondence and daily interactions with state regulators
      - Conduct internal compliance audits and develop corrective action plans to ensure regulatory compliance
      - Accountable for managing compliance oversight for health plan subcontractors

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
      - Minimum of 7 years of compliance program management and contract experience with State Medicaid programs
      - At least 5-7 years of experience with health care regulatory agencies in compliance and fraud program development
      - 5+ years of experience overseeing the implementation of contract requirements
      - Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance requirements

      - Experience in managing audits and communication with state healthcare regulators
      - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
      - Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management processes
      - Familiarity with corrective action planning and compliance strategies
