- Negotiate and finalize contracts with nursing agencies, independent contractors, and temporary staffing firms to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staffing requirements and develop contract strategies to address short-term and long-term staffing needs.
- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for contracted nursing staff, including credentialing, orientation, and training requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contracted nursing staff regarding scheduling, payroll, benefits, and other administrative inquiries.
- Monitor contract performance metrics, including fill rates, turnover rates, and contract compliance, and provide regular reports to nursing leadership.
- Conduct regular audits of contract documentation, invoices, and vendor performance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Legal departments to resolve contract-related issues, disputes, and grievances.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in nursing contract management to recommend process improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by nursing leadership.
