What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and other communications with patients and healthcare providers
- Register patients, schedule appointments, and update patient information
- Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with electronic health record management and respond to patient messages
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
- 1 year of patient care experience in a medical office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and telephone communication
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of practice management systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of call center and/or patient access experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes
