      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Submit authorizations for all internal and external orders, including radiation, chemotherapy, and scans
      - Follow up on pending authorizations within 48 hours to ensure timely approvals
      - Document all steps taken to secure authorizations and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards
      - Communicate effectively with Revenue Cycle Management and clinical staff to facilitate appropriate patient care
      - Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 4-8 years of experience in a related field
      - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
      - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
      - Familiarity with Oncology, Urology, Chemotherapy, and Radiation Billing
      - Excellent verbal communication skills and strong customer service background

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with computerized billing software and interpreting EOBs
      - Knowledge of GE Centricity and managed care contracts
      - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
      - Strong organizational skills and capability to resolve customer issues diplomatically
      - Experience in a healthcare environment
