What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage daily customs clearance operations for cross-border shipments via ocean, air, rail, and truck
- Prepare and verify import documentation to ensure timely release and delivery of orders
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, sellers, and vendors to resolve shipment issues
- Monitor clearance status and manage issue escalation effectively
- Perform accurate data entry for entry filing, classifications, and inspections
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of customs entry writing experience with a proven track record handling complex, high-value shipments
- Experience in international logistics, cross-border transportation, and U.S. Customs rules and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business preferred
- Licensed customs broker
- Experience performing accurate data entry and analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Excel at a basic level, including UX navigation and functions
- Previous experience in customs brokerage or related fields
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to meet daily/weekly KPI targets for entry submission and accuracy
