      Job Overview
      The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain SQL Server–based database solutions supporting enterprise banking applications and data integration needs. This role focuses on T-SQL development, SSIS/ETL processes, performance optimization, and data integrity within a large, regulated financial services environment.
      The position partners closely with application development teams to support integrations, troubleshoot issues, and uphold database best practices.
      Key Responsibilities
      • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications
      • Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions
      • Develop and support ETL and data integration workflows using SSIS
      • Monitor and improve database performance, reliability, and scalability
      • Ensure data integrity, security, backups, and recovery processes
      • Support application integrations and troubleshoot database-related issues
      • Document database structures, standards, and operational processes
      • Participate in code reviews and contribute to database best practices
      Required Skills & Qualifications
      Required
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
      • 4+ years of recent hands-on experience with SQL Server databases
      • Strong proficiency in T-SQL scripting and advanced querying
      • Experience developing ETL solutions using SSIS
      • Solid understanding of database design, normalization, and relational data modeling
      • Experience with SQL Server tools such as SSMS and Profiler
      Preferred
      • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Informatica MDM
      • Familiarity with SSRS and/or SSAS
      • Exposure to cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database)
      • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
