What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the onboarding of new customers by verifying data validity and mapping it for model consumption
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to develop and maintain data standardization rules
- Identify and present tactics for data quality improvement and generate quality reports for clients
- Integrate data governance practices to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Develop documentation for data quality processes and convert manual processes into scalable pipelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, specifically for Workers' Compensation
- Strong knowledge of claims data and systems data integration
- Proficient in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and analytics tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in insurtech or technology-driven solutions startups for the insurance industry
- Familiarity with AI applications within claims management
- Knowledge of non-Workers' Compensation P&C lines, specifically General Liability and Auto
- Experience with Python and Alteryx for data transformation and validation
