Job Description

Own Data Science for a cluster on new and established product and services.
Lead Local Data Science team across the cluster.
Be a Data Science business partner for Managing Directors/President, Commercial, Product, Technology, Local and Regional leaders to contribute their objectives including revenue, productivity, EBITDA and other objectives.
Meet with clients to understand strategic business needs, communicate internally and offer innovative solutions driven through state of the art methodologies in Data Science.
Partner with other global data science and technology leaders to enable new solutions.
Collaborate with other Data Science leaders units to deliver and prioritize objectives.
Develop team & talent strategy to drive the vision of the Data Science organization.
Responsible for team development and coaching.
Plan and prioritize key initiatives for countries across the cluster in alignment with clusters business leaders.
Supporting senior DBLs for global escalated issues and complex matters.
Create an environment to encourage and drive innovation mindset and to leverage best-demonstrated practices across countries.
Stay connected to internal/external Data Science community to learn the newest Data Science & Technology solutions to be able to bring them to the market

Analytical and Technical skills:
Solid understanding of Statistics
Strong aptitude for data analysis.
Solid critical/ logical thinking.
Strong Business acumen, finance and budgeting knowledge
Familiar with contemporary open source tools and technologies such as Python and R.
Experienced in data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, etc) and mapping tools.
Working knowledge with collaboration Microsoft tools
Familiar with Machine Learning.
Familiar with Cloud computing such as AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.
Working experience with Nielsen systems/products. (for internal-it is required)
Working experience with contemporary database systems.
Familiar with Project Management.
8+ years of experience in market research or relevant field.
Solid understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s business within the market.
Professionals with degrees involving subjects in statistical and maths.
Significant experience managing high performance and tech savvy teams
