      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead professional research and analysis for the development and implementation of regulatory responsibilities related to Energy Waste Reduction (EWR) and Efficient Electrification (EFEL) plans
      - Make determinations on EWR program offerings submitted by utility providers and recommend enhancements to better serve ratepayers
      - Conduct research and provide expert witness testimony in contested cases before the Commission regarding EWR and EFEL plans
      - Analyze Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) filings and other related case filings
      - Collaborate with utility providers to improve EWR programs and ensure compliance with regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
      - For the Departmental Analyst 10 level: One year of professional experience
      - For the Departmental Analyst P11 level: Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service
      - For the Departmental Analyst 12 level: Three years of professional experience, including one year at the experienced (P11) level in state service
      - Experience in researching technical topics and applying findings to problem-solving

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with litigation support, case management, or adjudicative support
      - Background in the implementation and regulation of legislation
      - Prior military service at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services
      - Technical writing skills demonstrated through a writing sample
      - Familiarity with utility clean energy programs
