      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee the budget and allotment of funds for various DSHS programs
      - Collaborate with administration/division budget staff to ensure accurate financial reporting
      - Develop budget-related products and perform fiscal monitoring
      - Review and recommend approval for proposed rule and policy changes with fiscal implications
      - Assist program staff with access to budget systems and resources

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or public administration
      - Minimum of three years of experience in public budgeting or program analysis
      - Familiarity with budget and legislative processes in Washington State
      - Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
      - Ability to communicate technical processes clearly to stakeholders

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with governmental budgeting and accounting principles
      - Proven ability to develop rapport with partners and stakeholders
      - Experience in analyzing complex data and formulating multiple outcomes
      - Knowledge of the relationship between policy changes and fiscal impact
