- Understand DSP processor architectures and performance parameters as well as fixed-point and floating-point signal processing.
- Write efficient and optimized code in Assembler, C, and Python.
- Identify and organize resources needed to accomplish tasks.

- A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in DSP engineering
- Proficiency in Assembler, C, and Python programming languages.
- A strong understanding of DSP processor architectures and performance parameters as well as fixed-point and floating-point signal processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Are you interested in developing, designing, and prototyping innovative and state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions? Then you might be our new colleague in our FalCom division, a part of GN.
As our new DSP Audio Engineer, you will be the link to the features we deliver to our customers. You will directly impact how our equipment interacts with our users’ communication devices in the field. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining target DSP frameworks, as well as collaborating with a small team to ensure the highest quality of the deliverables.

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you join our Audio Engineering team in the FalCom division. We create advanced hearing protection solutions that allow special operations, military, law enforcement and security personnel to communicate in the most extreme environments – all while providing world-class hearing protection.
You will be part of a small independent team of international software, hardware, and mechanical engineers. The team is characterized by a supportive, collaborative, fun and inclusive atmosphere.
We develop sophisticated software and hardware for low power communication solutions. We work independently and in teams as needed, and together we navigate in a project-oriented development culture, collaborating with colleagues across GN and especially with our R&D and sales functions.
This role reports to Senior Manager Audio Engineering, Jens Kirkelund Madsen, who explains: “It’s a very interesting position. You’ll have a lot of autonomy, and you will be defining, implementing and test new features for all kinds of FalComs products as well as the customer solutions. It really is a great opportunity for learning”.
