What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead efforts in acquiring new logo clients within targeted industry verticals, achieving consistent success in new bookings
- Develop and implement account development strategies to maximize customer potential and meet business objectives
- Maintain and manage a twelve-month business account plan, including forecasting and reporting
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with high-value customers, understanding their decision-making processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor's Degree required; relevant experience may substitute for degree
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in hybrid cloud and cybersecurity solutions
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and public speaking skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, exceeding 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Expert-level knowledge of the sales process and Rackspace's product portfolio
- Prior experience with AI and machine learning solutions
- Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking KPIs and documentation
- Previous success in establishing relationships at the C-suite level
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic customer needs through innovative solutions
