What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform data feature extraction and compilation
- Create a variety of digital mapping products using various software platforms
- Capture and analyze geospatial data
- Create and manipulate databases for project needs
- Process and manipulate elevation data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
- 0 to 3 years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field
- Knowledge or experience in data compilation
- In-depth knowledge of ESRI's software, including ArcGIS 10x
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Python, R, or Git
- Familiarity with QGIS and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of LiDAR technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
