What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver course content and assessments, ensuring alignment with university standards and learning objectives
- Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond timely to student inquiries to foster academic success
- Perform additional duties such as coaching and tutoring to support student learning
- Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay updated on instructional standards and policies
- Maintain current knowledge of content area and adapt to technology changes for effective online instruction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, Medical Physician/Psychiatrist, or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine/Psychiatrist, OR Doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing, OR Master’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical nursing practice setting, with at least 2 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist using psychotherapy techniques
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or Multistate
- National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Must have 2 years of current experience within the last 5 years

- Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
- High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs
- Ability to convey a professional image and represent the university appropriately
