What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage research assistants in coding food purchase data using a price coding system
- Oversee coding assignments and provide responses to questions from research assistants
- Update and maintain coding guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Monitor progress and productivity of research assistants
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum commitment of 18 hours per week
- Availability to work each weekday, with flexible hours
- Experience in managing teams or supervising staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide guidance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in nutrition research or related fields
- Familiarity with data coding and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of school meal programs and nutritional guidelines
- Experience working with remote teams or in a virtual environment
