What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform data collection, analysis, interpretation, and management duties
- Prepare presentations reflecting the results of data analysis
- Provide specific analysis and research for Homeland Security mission areas
- Lead technical demonstrations and presentations on materials and analyses
- Provide guidance and work leadership to junior team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in data analysis and geospatial methodologies
- Strong understanding of Homeland Security mission areas
- Ability to prepare comprehensive assessments of threats and trends
- Familiarity with current and emerging technologies and best practices
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, geography, security studies)
- Experience with classified and open-source information analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work on specialized geospatial analytical projects
- Strong presentation and communication skills
