What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review award setup, research administration, and compliance in the Oracle financial system
- Establish and modify clinical trials and research awards in Oracle
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate implementation of award terms and conditions
- Conduct system testing of the Oracle Grants Module for upgrades and new functionalities
- Assist staff with issues related to invoicing, reporting, and compliance for sponsored projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant area
- Familiarity with 2 CFR Part 200 and grant management principles
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow comprehensive procedures
- Experience in analyzing and maintaining financial information related to grants and contracts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional designations such as CPA, CRA, or CMA
- Three years of experience in grants and contract accounting
- Previous experience in quality assurance and review processes
- Familiarity with Oracle Financial Applications software
- Experience in clinical trial research administration
