What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and execute Angi’s external communications strategy to secure high-quality earned media coverage by managing the PR agency
- Write and edit press releases, blog posts, op-eds, and social content for Angie Hicks, ensuring alignment with Angi’s brand vision
- Identify and pitch timely story angles using Angi’s data and broader cultural trends
- Build and deepen relationships with key reporters, editors, and producers to expand Angi’s media presence
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance Angie Hicks's personal brand through various media formats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media strategy, preferably in consumer, tech, or lifestyle brands
- Proven track record of managing a public-facing executive or celebrity
- Experience in managing external agencies and delivering measurable media impact
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, including ghostwriting for executives
- Comprehensive understanding of the modern media ecosystem, both traditional and new
